Flobby arm quick fixes

I was larger - bmi of 31 - but now I'm just at the top end of healthy weight with a bmi of 25. I generally look pretty slim, but my upper arms really don't look so good.

They're not fat per se, but just wobbly and soft. Long term, I am building muscle along with losing fat, so I do actually have biceps when I flex now, but at rest they are just wobbly. I'm also intending to lose another stone, so they might improve longterm as i lose more weight (although I do wonder if the skin has just stretched and they'll always look loose).

Anyway, in the short term, can anyone recommend a cream or miracle product that can improve the appearance just temporarily? I'm going to be a bridesmaid in 2 weeks and I don't like how my arms look in my dress. I wondering if there's any firming creams that actually work, even if the effects only last as long as the day.

Thanks in advance.

Nope!
But daily weights will make a difference in 2 weeks.
Biceps, triceps, any and all arm exercises. Each one do til you cannot - at about 8 to 12 repetitions. Everyday.

You could try body brushing to smooth out your skin, and then moisturise and put on some fake tan or something but realistically no cream is going to make arms look less wobbly.

As the previous poster said, if you do arm specific weights (with heavy dumbells) every day or two for 2 weeks you may well notice a bit of a difference, especially as you said you already have some muscle.

Hmm thanks. I already do a lot of weights and can feel I have good muscle tone, unfortunately there's just loose skin and wobbly fat over the top.

I'll try the body brushing and fake tan approach.

I’ve been doing this 3 minute arm work out for couple of weeks now and I can see a big difference already.

I would also have a look in the mirror at how you hold your arms. Mine look totally fine when I'm just going about my day but somehow the way I hold them for photographs often makes them look dreadful. If I hold them carefully so they're not smooshing into my body they photograph a lot better.

Body brushing, moisturising and a light self tan does work wonders IMO.

Keep up the exercises too, watching the thread for any other revaluations I don’t know about 😀

Weight. Use slow reps with as much weight as you can manage. Work on your triceps, not just biceps.
