Eye make up for sensitive eyes?

I’ve always worn mascara a few days per week and used any high street eye make up remover to take it off at the end of the day (simple, garnier, no7 etc - whichever one is on offer!)

Recently though my eyes seem to get extremely irritated when I remove mascara, to the point the eyes are red and feel like they are almost burning.

I don’t want to stop using mascara but obviously this can’t carry on! Does anyone have any recommendations for an eye make up remover for really sensitive eyes? Also wondering if it may be the mascara itself which is the problem so welcome any suggestions on that too.

Clinique generally, I use the high impact mascara

A tubing mascara which doesn’t need make up remover would probably help - there are loads of these other than Clinique

I have sensitive eyes too and I use the Morphe volume one which is only £10 on lookfantastic.com.

I would also recommend you use makeup remover towels - this involves just using a wet makeup remover towel and gently rubbing off your makeup. It doesn't require any miscellar water/etc so that's one less product to have to keep buying.

Do you notice any eye discomfort at any other time of day as well? If so then you may want to change the other eye makeup you wear - I've found that cheap powders really irritate my eyes.

I’m allergic to most make up removers. I use baby oil and it works great. Obviously don’t use on your whole face and rinse off after. Really cheap as well.

I cant put anything on my lashes apart from vaseline! I dye mine every so often, which stings but at least its only every so often.
