Warm autumn skin tone/colouring - help!

I had a colour consultation for my birthday and was told I’m a ‘warm autumn’ - the lady advised colours like brown, sort of olive green, mustard yellow…I like turquoise blues and pinks! Now I’m rethinking my whole life haha! The lady said I can’t really wear any pinks or purples…and I can wear like bright reds which I never ever wear because I thought it bought out the redness in my skin.

I’m now looking for little things like lipsticks or scarves to test out new colours but I’m struggling, particularly with reds. Any advice or suggestions? For context I’m 42, sort of dark brown/reddish hair, burn never tan, green eyes, the lady said gold jewellery is best. These are some of the clothes she suggested for me but I’m stuck on makeup and can’t get my head around wearing red when my face is often red!! 🙈

I thought a warm autumn was more yellow based colours, so you can wear pink and a turquoise but more of a yellow base than blue?

I'd definitely start with t shirts, scarves and lipsticks to acclimatise yourself. Do bear in mind you could be quite a mix too, it's not an exact science but generally you know your colours because people tell you you look good and you've done nothing different - people always comment if I wear a periwinkle blue or violet. Here's some warm autumn colours and there's definitely a pink and turquoise in there...

See this is what I thought! So people comment if I wear turquoise, and clearly purple doesn’t suit me (‘why is your face all red Miss? when I was wearing a purple scarf! 😂)
