I’ve had mine done, and I love it. I have always had pale thin lips, but didn’t want the risk of trout pout that comes with fillers. I’d given up on finding a long lasting lipstick that didn’t smear or flake.
I first had my lips blushed 3 1/2 years ago, and I had them topped up after 2 years. It hurts quite a lot (I have also had my eyebrows micro bladed and found that to be a doddle in comparison). But, a couple of hours of pain for a few years of beautiful lips is totally worth it to me.
I don’t bother with any other makeup for most of the week, and don’t think they look out of place. Mine are pink rather than red. And if you are worried about it looking “fake”, my dentist was really close to me (obviously) and said she was doing her best not to smudge my lipstick, so even at close range I don’t think it looks tattooed on!
