Dcypher custom foundation

Anyone tried it?

The reviews look really good but I've yet to find something that equals Doublewear.

I really like the idea of the exact match though. I think there used to be something similar that was discontinued,Prescriptives?

Yes! I've tried it and I really rate it highly. I always suspected my skin tone was a bit tricky to match to and I don't think I've ever had a foundation that has matched properly. Dcypher got it spot on! I am pale very warm apparently.
It's a good coverage (but you can choose that anyway) and it lasts really well.
I 100% recommend it. I just wish they did concealer and powder.

Oooo I might have to try it myself. I am pale but need long wearing so hence the love for Doublewear,I haven't tried anything anywhere near as good but I'd love a proper custom blend. I have Rosacea and the Doublewear knocks out all the redness, do you think the Dcypher would do the same?

When you say WARM is that warm as in what Mac call warm which is actually COOL (pink tones) in every other foundation? I'm really cool, so pale with pinkish undertones.

I've tried it.

I'm very pale with pink undertones which always seems very hard to match.

They did a pretty good colour match, possibly a tad pale but that might be because we've gone into summer and I've got a litter darker.

I tried the foundation and the pigment ( to mix with moisturiser), the formula of the foundation doesn't sit incredibly well on me, I prefer the pigment drops.

Sounds like my skin tone. Do you add the drops to a moisturiser? Did you get a refund , it says they will refund of you're not happy?

I've got the pigment drops, colour match is excellent, I think depending on how you mix it you might be able to get it to work as a concealer. I mix it with a hydrating gel to make it into a tint kind of texture.

Hereforthedramaz · 18/08/2023 14:31

Yes, two drops added to either a moisturiser or sunscreen works well for me.

As PP have said they can also be used undiluted as concealer.

I did think about sending back but never bothered!

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 18/08/2023 16:54

Thanks for the info, I'll try the drops I think.

I've just received mine today and I'm very impressed with it.
I have the foundation in medium natural coverage. Fair with warm undertones although I've got dark brown hair.
Matches my skin perfectly and feels light.

RavingStone · 01/09/2023 10:22

Yes! I really rate it. I discovered my fairly pale skin has warm undertones and is far from the palest available, which surprised me but possibly explains why I've consistently failed at foundation thus far.

I chose the light coverage which is more like a tinted moisturiser and it is incredible. I look just like me but way less tired. It doesn't feel make uppy which was important for me.

One thing - you use your phone camera. I think Iphones may be ok but my android has a blue cast. Also consider the weather outside. You want to be in bright midday light but not under direct sunlight.

I haven't ordered one yet as have had a spendy month, can't wait to try it though.

I saw a Facebook ad for this and I'm tempted. They do a concealer now, too.
