Can anyone help me get an even complexion??

So I have some hyper pigmentation on my face and I have naturally dark eye bags (joy) which means I hate not wearing make up. I want to try to even out my skin tone if possible so I feel more confident with no make up? I have combination skin and annoyingly do still get spots despite not being that young anymore!

for quite a few months I have been using retinol 3 nights a week and have been using vitamin c morning and the nights I’m not using the retinol. Whilst my skin looks brighter, it has done nothing to the marks. Can anyone help me please? There are so many products that promise the earth but I have used loads of things over the years for various things and I seem to be a bit unique and they don’t work for me! I Have attached a photo

Nicaminide and Azelic acid are what you want for the hyperpigmentation

Prescription strength topicals from Dermatica or skin and me are the only thing that will really change it

You also need to wear daily sunscreen , not moisturizer or makeup with spf

I did BBL laser for my pigmentation and results were fantastic.
Would recommend.

Also SPF50 every day is non negotiable

thanks all. I don’t sit in the sun at all as I burn too easily but yes I know sun can still damage so I do wear spf although in the winter that is just in my moisturiser and then my foundation has spf in it. The summer I wear one underneath make up.
iv seen different types of laser but they scare me… don’t they cause any damage at all? Are they permanent or is this similar to hair laser removal as in that doesn’t damage the skin but hair will come back..

Never heard of azelic acid.. off to google

do dermatologica offer any kind of money back? I used them years back, had a consultation and spent a lot and made no difference
