Choosing Perfume

It's my birthday coming up. I seem to have lost all my old perfume (not worn since pre dc). So I thought I would treat myself to something new. I only have a very small boots and Superdrug locally which stock a selection of about 10 perfumes each. So not much choice, also, I have found before that after trying in store and loving ill take a new bottle home and hate it.

I remember buying my mum little sets for Christmas with 5 or so scents in mini that she could try. This would be in the 90s 00s I remember exclamation being one of them! Do these still exist?

The last 2 perfumes I liked were Kenzo, I had flowers and something else in a purple bottle. Aside from that I'm clueless.

Is there anywhere to get samples, or selection boxes to try a few different scents inexpensively before I buy. Id really love to have one signature scent, I doubt ill wear anything often, I'm not a scent makeup person on the whole, but would be nice sometimes to have it there.

Thanks

Superdrug do boxes with 3 or 4 in, Versace is one. Allsaints do one, you can normally buy that from Amazon if there is little in local stores.

I buy Molecule discovery sets as I don't have a favourite. 10 tiny bottles to try and also fit in a jeans pocket!

Selfridges have a selection of discovery sets. The Jo Malone looks good

The discovery sets sound like a fantastic idea, thank you very much for all your suggestions.
