Backpack/bag for work

Sorry if this has been done before.
I'm looking for something stylish to chuck my home office in for trips to the office, something with loads of pockets so I can feel relatively well organised. There are no requirements to look corporate, but I don't want to look like I'm about to climb a mountain or get on a bike. And I don't want to look like a student with either - so it's a no to Herschel I think.
I'd feel comfortable spending up to around £300 - any ideas, please?

John Lewis have got some leather ones although they don't seem to have very good laptop compartments.

They also had some good ones in TK Maxx last time I went so it may be worth trying to find a bargain.

It's significantly less than your budget but I have this one for work and it's amazing. It is so well made and has pockets galore. Even a hidden one round the back to foil pickpockets.

Honestly the best bag I've ever bought, including designer.

I bought a Roka one and really dislike it. The top always pops open if you put more stuff in it and looks odd. I don’t think it has more space than a Fjallraven which is a better shape.
I’m also looking for similar - love the Smythson one, smaller Sandqvist is also good.
For £300 - there’s a very nice Honey & Toast one in John Lewis.

Nordace Siena (original) - love it!

I get compliments on this every day, though ironically, the colour way on mine is opposite to this.

I have the nordace sienna too and it's fab. It's pretty large and it's stood up to regular commuting for 2 or so years.
