Somewhere between H&M pricing and Reiss style

Does such a place exist?

I love the style of Reiss clothing, but I just can't afford it and I love the price of H&M, but it's not very good quality or fit.

I'm probably looking for a unicorn but if anyone has some suggestions for shops that have good quality items but don't charge £200-£300 for a dress.

I'm trying to elevate my work wardrobe and I'd like lots of nice fitting wide leg trousers, oversized and fitted blazer etc. I just want to look put together and polished.

I'm reaching arnt I 😂

& Other Stories?

I think that if you want good quality then you need to pay more money and have fewer pieces. Perhaps you should explore second hand pieces of Reiss ? As for other brands how about Massimo Dutti or some pieces from Arket.

I actually like wide legged trousers from M&S ….. the £39 ones not the cheapy ones. I mix it with Cos & Arket

Thank you!

I love M&S wide leg trousers, the heavy crepe ones that hang beautifully.
And H&M do excellent oversized cotton shirts - I have a pale blue/white striped one that's crisp and super smart.
I adore Reiss too, I coveted a dress recently but couldn't justify the price tag. I do have a gorgeous navy wool Reiss coat I bought in the sale a few years ago, it was £ but will last me years. Also, try Vinted for Cos, Reiss etc

I love Reiss too but can never afford full price so have been on eBay and vinted recently and found some great stuff a lot cheaper than I expected.

Reiss is often on BrandAlley.
I tend to shop for basics at M&S. Apart from T shirts, as they rarely do 100% cotton.
I'm another who like M&S wide leg trousers. Plus the linen shirts have been great this summer. H&M do great cotton shirts as well. M&S Cashmere is very reasonably priced but I find I have to size up to a 24 ( & I'm 12/14) as they're so neat fitting. Shop for expensive coats on BrandAlley/Secret Sales & sometimes Tk Maxx have lots of Piccolino's & other expensive shoes.

Just buy Reiss on Vinted!

I also adore Reiss. Slightly less expensive brands I also like are Stories, Sezane, M&S Autograph and Cos

I'm trying to buy better, I have a few things from h& m not happy how they fade only after a few washers, so in the sale I have a wool mix blazer from hobbs £110 never paid so much for a blazer, usually I get from h &m, then a sale sequin jacket from hush £50, well its described as a top, but I would wear it undone as a jacket, now love the sequin jacket, it makes me smile and feel happy, but when will I wear it, the wool mix one I could wear much more but its boring, which one would you keep.
