Fully waterproof lightweight jacket for tween

Please can anyone recommend where is good to look for a lightweight waterproof jacket for a tween? She is in age 12-13 so has aged out of Polarn o Pyret. Her old mac is Uniqlo but is only showerproof, as are M&S, and John Lewis have very little over age 12. Bright colours would be nice but she wouldn’t be seen dead in eg Boden prints these days (and tbh neither would I!).

We went from POP to Didrikson for waterproof coats. Have been pleased.

id go for an outdoors brand. Berghaus, Patagonia or Rab etc

Dts have trespass ones, they had to get them for a residential and have worn them NEVER, would rather get wet. They're great coats though, got them in mountain warehouse.

I just get outdoor brands like regatta. I have one myself thats really waterproof.
