Subtle Highlighter for a Beginner

Hi,

I want to do some very basic nose contouring. I use nude Maybelline dream satin liquid foundation. I have quite a wide and bulbouse
nose and would like to slim it down. I want a very subtle highlighter. I don't really want to do all that layering up with different shades I just want a thin line of highlighter.

I would really appreciate some specific recommendations as I haven't got a clue where to start!

Thank you

Thanks @Bearthepooh what shade do you use for your nose? And what do you apply it with?

I love this from Revolution for day to day, I just do a light contour line down each side of my nose and a line of the highlight for the middle. It is lighter than it looks in this image

I've just realised I have added the dark version, the light one shows the highlighter better. It isn't glowy but it does really lighten it up

@hartof thank you. Is it actually a highlighter? Or just a concealer. I've got a stick which has a concealer on one side and a shadowy colour on the other side but I don't use it as it's too Matt, if you know what I mean and I can't blend them well. I want an actual highlighter.

It's just a concealer. They do a blush version where one end is actual highlighter

Mac Soft & Gentle is my absolute favourite highlighter!

@Weelegs29 and mine!

I have just bought the Clinique highlighter chubby stick, after never having used either highlighter or contour ever!

Its great, subtle but buildable. So many that i sampled have really obvious glitter bits in but this one is super-fine.

(I got the Fenty contour, if youre interested - great range of colours and lovely consistency for me - a beginner!)

Mac soft and gentle it is then! Thanks guys

And @Bearthepooh thanks for the tip on what brush to use. I would have been trying it with my finger or cotton bud!
