Ear piecing query

One of my ear piercing holes is slightly lower than the other and it makes any earrings hang oddly. Someone recently commented on it and now I’m really conscious of it. Can I get another hole pierced, and will the wonky one just heal over, even though I’ve had it for about twenty years? The shop that did it is long gone btw, and it was okay at the time.

I don’t wear earrings for this reason and considering getting them repierced. I spoke to someone who said they could do the new piercing above the old one.

I haven't worn earrings for 20 years and they've not healed so I doubt they'll heal over.

Thanks. Looks like it’s a choice between wonky earrings or an unused hole in my earlobe. 😕

This happened to me! I had a second hole put into the ear with the lower hole without any issues. I'm not sure if the first hole is still open, but it hasn't been used since and is no bother to me.

Yes you can as long as there is a reasonable size gap between the 2!

I have stacked lobe piercings, one above my original piercing &it isn't an issue!

Yes I’m pretty sure there is a good enough gap to where the new piercing will need to be. I’ll do it I think, as it’s really starting to annoy me.

My mum told me her auntie did this and the two holes joined up. I let my daughter’s low piercing heal up for this reason and will get it done again.

Go to a long established piercer with a proven track record and seek their advice.

Alternatively go for odd earrings which although different compliment each other.

A good piercer can correct it with a stacked lobe look. Have a google. Is that something you might want to consider?
