Snag tights high waisted knickers- sizing

I have been looking at the snag tights high waisted knickers but annoyingly I am between sizes. Does anyone have experience of them, and should I size up or down?
when I’ve had shapewear type underwear before if they are too small then they ride up giving horrible wedgies, but as these appear to be softer jersey, I wonder if they are too large they will not perform what I want them to for my stomach. I’m really a 10-12, the sizing is 8-10 or 12-14.

They aren't really shape knickers just big knickers. Get the big ones so they are comfy I'd say.

@OneHundredOtters thank you, are they quite tight across the tummy area? I got the impression they were like a mid-way between normal and shapewear? Maybe they won’t be right anyway for what I want.

I'd go for the smaller size - I wear the 12/14 as a big 12/mainly 14 and they are comfy. They're definitely not shapewear, just very high waist, thick cotton stretch material.
