To keep the green blazer?

The price, quality and fit are are good, would be worn mainly for work.
But the colour - it’s very 2023, so may look dated next year, it’s very bright and I am in senior role and never went for anything like this, way out of comfort zone. It neither enhances nor takes away from my complexion…

Keep as an experiment or go back to more sensible colours? Thank you.

I think that looks dated. So it's probably fashionable!

It may look dated quite quickly, so if you don't mind that then keep it. What would you wear it with?

RunItOff · 10/08/2023 07:46

White, black and navy slim jeans and a cami. If I get a neutral midi skirt, with it too.

I love it. It's bright, cheerful and looks both comfy and professional. I must admit I don't really follow fashion so I don't understand how bright green can be "very 2023". If you like it, wear it!

Love it.

I don’t think it’s the most expensive looking- perhaps more casual. I always look on eBay now for work blazers- lk bennett ones go for the same price as M&S and I always get compliments on them.

I saw in the window of Hobbs a dark green trouser suit and it looked very classically cut. Really nice and the colour wouldn't date so quickly as it was neutral.

It looks a bit cheap to me, not a classic at all but if you are happy with that why not?
I love Green but I think that shade is a bit tacky

I think those ruched sleeve M & S jackets are good value, so I think you can afford to keep it and enjoy it! I think if you keep to a single colour palette underneath you'll be fine - I saw a lady with that jacket on over black straight cropped jeans and a black slim t shirt, black cross body bag and she looked lovely.
I just wish they were a bit longer on me, they just never seem to fit me right. I keep trying, H & M do a similar but longer version which is better on me.

I've just bought a similar jacket on Vinted, purely because of the colour! Easy to wear with neutrals.
