BarryIsTheNewHarry totally agree with you. I find people that post pics of themselves trying to big themselves up really make me giggle! As it’s usually people that look younger are the ones that keep quiet and don’t beg for attention, 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All very silly. Especially when they actually do look that age or older! Cringe

leftoversfortea · 08/08/2023 14:32

This thread is ridiculous but mildly entertaining! No, I haven't RTFT but really, why do people post these sort of questions and then say "I was just wondering"? The OP's first photo she looks glum and it's taken from a bad angle, the second one is better. I'm sure, like most of us, with your hair and make up done, nice dress and good photography you'd look great and maybe a few years younger. As it is, you look about your age.

Really it's no biggie if someone guesses you're either 37 or 42 when you're 39 - it's in the ballpark. If they're guessing 50 they're being a bit mean maybe.

And as for 'granny' who'd muscled in on the OP's post - is this genuine? You look mid 60's to me but sound a bit vain. Lots of water or not you look your age ....most of us do if we're honest!

Janieforever · 08/08/2023 14:25

I know but I can’t imagine what would posses a lady in her mid to late sixties to post an image and genuinely think folks think she’s in her thirties or forties, and then posting about her good genes and giving advice.

And pretending the image isn’t filtered. Even the décolletage shows to be heavily filtered with no skin texture. Everyone knows a filtered image when they see it now.

this thread is beyond carnage and thoroughly distracting me from my work 😂

It is so odd isn't it? Firstly to crash into someone else's thread, secondly because they obviously think they look younger, and thirdly to assume that the people responding to the OP are responding to her. Mad and I also can't get any work done..

Tahitiansummer · 08/08/2023 14:36

I would have guessed you were much older. Sadly, there is no way to turn back the clock.

Tahitiansummer · 08/08/2023 14:38

My post was meant for the poster who claims to be 65.

Allthecatsandcosyblankets · 08/08/2023 14:45

I think you look like you would be asked for I.d. alot! Definitely teen features! But I would guess 29/30

JennyBeBad · 08/08/2023 14:46

I guessed 45 and 50 when I saw your smiling photo.
You don't look younger than your age, you look older. I thin the young comment maybe you have a baby voice or dress very young. Lots of people with bad vision don't wear eyeglasses so their eyesight is too poor to see wrinkles. I thin if you lost weight you would look late thirties. Your skin is sun damaged, teeth make you look older and the weight is aging. Your eyes aren't bright, maybe bad diet from processed food or too much booze. Really try and avoid the sun if you want to stop the damage and lose weight.

There kind of is actually. Most of us can reduce our metabolic age by implementing a mostly good diet, a lifestyle that incorporates comprehensive exercise in cardio, resistance and mobility and getting enough sleep, natural light and socialisation. Not always easy or even completely possible, especially the sleep when you have young children and, in this part of the world, sunlight. But even if you can't do everything right, starting to make one or two more positive changes will help a lot. I'd honestly say I'm younger now than I was a decade ago. I certainly feel younger and I'm orders of magnitude stronger, fitter and more flexible.

OakTree16 · 08/08/2023 14:53

@Grannyknowsbest my DM is 62 and looks much younger than you. I would say you have less wrinkles than her (although hard to tell with the filters!) but her hair style and the way she dresses make her much more youthful than you appear. I associate your hairstyle with older people as my Nanna always had that hairstyle.

Grannyknowsbest · 08/08/2023 11:56

My daughter is older than you but looks younger.. she's a single mum to three ASD teenage boys.
Try some good skin products.. drink more water.. be careful of the sun.
Our genes must be good.. plus we take great care of our skin. I cannot raise my eyebrows so have no frow lines. I don't drink alcohol.. only water.
I'm 65.

Out of interest how old do you think you look? Or are told you look by people in real life?

Siouxiesiouxiesioux · 08/08/2023 14:54

HowToRedeem · 08/08/2023 10:03

I think you're quite difficult to age - conflicting factors.

Your eye area look older than the rest of your face. Ignoring eyes 32-35 but with eyes...43-46? No idea though! I very much doubt you're in your fifties but I have a friend who is 52 who looks much younger than her years and younger than you, so who knows!

I love this post "without eyes" 19 but "with eyes" 119. it just conjures up very funny images.

DrSbaitso · 08/08/2023 14:57

I just tried that howolddoyoulook site and it reckons I look 27. Like fuck I do. I also discovered prettyscale recently and it rated me 72%. So I put in a picture of Margot Robbie and it rated her 61%.

I know that for all you guys know, I really might look ten years younger than I am and be objectively more beautiful than Margot Robbie, but do you think that's likely?

I'm not prepared to post photos of myself but please believe me that this isn't a stealth brag. I'm sharing these results because I know what I look like and that's how I know it's all a load of absolute cobblers.

This is why AI won't actually take over the world.

I really hate these threads which is why I didn't post ... but it's really descended into hilarious chaos. (I hope Granny is ok, some brutal answers there).

I know.
I don't think I find it worth giving up alcohol just so I could look 65 when I actually was 65.

And pretending the image isn’t filtered. Even the décolletage shows to be heavily filtered with no skin texture. Everyone knows a filtered image when they see it now.

I must admit, I'm not very good at spotting those but Grannykb's face did look overly flat (not sure I'm describing it well).
I haven't used them myself (perhaps I should learn!) but did benefit from my daughter (very beautiful, looks ridiculously young for her age, has to rush off when she drops her baby off at nursery in case they keep her instead, obviously etc etc) colouring in my roots on a photo once...

mate 😂 even with blurry filter you look your age!

Darling, you look older than me with those glasses....... and I'm 67.

The very dated wallpaper is also a dead giveaway.

There's a thread where someone thinks Tina O'Brien looks 23, and Sienna Miller 25 🤔.
It's very difficult to guess someone's age, especially nowadays. Plus images are manipulated. I also think that a picture doesn't reflect if a person is vicious, interesting and curious. Manner and attitude knock years off.

ClaraBourne · 08/08/2023 15:13

The smile takes ten years off you as in the top photo you look early 40s. Keep smiling!

PopGoesTheWeazel · 08/08/2023 15:14

Not the wallpaper slander! 🙀

😅

TheShellBeach · 08/08/2023 15:18

This thread is a great example of posters not RTFT!
The OP revealed her age several pages ago, and an elderly lady has asked people how old she looks, too, having posted her own picture bang in the middle of the OP's thread.

PopGoesTheWeazel · 08/08/2023 15:18

I just saw your smiling pic. You look much younger there. More like 33. You should make sure you smile!!
