Levi's jeans sizing!

I've done a lot of googling and can't find the answer, so many websites with size convertors that all give different answers! What is a size 12 in levi jeans? And a size 14? Any answers appreciated!!

I have Levi's and a size 12 mine are 30/28 but can't you measure you waist and leg and order a few to try? Or pop into a Levi's store.

Even buying 2 the exact same size one pair is too small 🤦‍♀️

I'm normally the top end of a size 12

I've found they vary so much. Even the same model in a different colour has different sizing☹️

Just ordered some last week and they fit perfect. I’m a UK8 and ordered the size 26. Hope this helps you a bit 😊

Oh and I’m 173cm talk and got the 32” long and it’s the perfect length!

They vary so much, I’ve a pair of 30” jeans which feel a bit loose and always need a belt… but I have a pair of 36” shorts which are absolutely perfect… go figure…

Oh I should say, I usually wear a 14.

I have a pair of the cropped 501s and they are a size 27, so a size 9. They have a little stretch in them ( bought them at an outlet).

I’m a 10/12 and have pairs which are 28, 29 and 30 depending on the style. I got the baggy dad jeans in a 29 a while ago and love them, so recently ordered the exact same pair in black - and they were far too big.

I'm a 12 with a 30 inch waist (actual measurement!) I'd go for a 30 in those. (Have also got 29s and 31s though, would also recommend a trying on session if you can get to a levis shop, then look on vinted once you know what size you need in various styles).

I’m planning on trying some on in store as I have a 30in waist and 40in hips. So many times I’ve been trying jeans on and not been able to get the waist over my hips, and a size that does go over the hips means it’s falling down at the waist.

now I’m slimmer I feel a bit braver!

Mine are the ribcage ones, 28 waist and not tight. I think they are amazing.

If you can get to a Levi's store the staff are usually very helpful. They will alter the leg length free of charge if you find a pair you like but they're too long.

Next levi jeans question is how much do you reckon they give when worn in? Would I be better off buying the one that's a bit small when I try it on or the one that fits perfectly when try on? I hate it when you think jeans fit perfectly then within a week of wearing them they're too loose!

I would say I'm a size 13 i.e. between 12 and 14. I'm 5'4'. I've recently bought 31 waist, 30 leg and they are a perfect fit. I only ever buy Levi's because they fit so well on me

In that case you should probably go with a 31” waist. It depends on your shape too but I think a 30” might be more fitted on you and not give quite the same look. It’s better to err on the side of too big with that style.

I recently bought some dungarees as a 12 / 14. They only come in S/M/L/XL sizes. I chose a L but they are a roomy fit. The M was too small.

So a jeans update! I have kept a pair which are a 30'' waist. The 29'' fitted but very snug, bit uncomfortable when sitting down. 30" v comfortable but looser to the extent that I hope they do retain their fit! Will be too big if they give much and I'm not a fan of belts. They are very nice jeans. Fingers crossed they keep their shape and fit !

How often are you meant to wash them? I’m also worried mine will stretch out. I had to buy another pair because my old ones stretched out after a few years and hoping to make this one last.
