Tall, slim but with big boobs and a flattish bum.

If so what do you wear?! I find all the things skinny/gamine women can normally wear (high neck tops, halter necks, cute camisoles) look ridiculous because of the boobs, and mom jeans just give me a pancake ass! Shorts and short skirts are nearly always indecently too short on me and look like I’m trying hard to show off my legs. I really liked those A-line denim skirts with the buttons down the front which were fashionable a few years ago but they’re out now.

Please help or just join me in the quest for ideas!

I'm the same shape though my waistline is a bit chubbier than I'd like at the moment which isn't helping! Mom jeans are awful on me, they make me arse look both massive and flat at the same time! I'm ok with camisoles, I'm just careful when I wear them, ie. not at work as they can show a lot of cleavage. Halternecks and high neck tops are complete no no. I recently bought a sleeveless dress from Hush that has a high neck and trying it on at home I really thought it looked ok. I then caught sight of myself in a mirror while out and about and in reality it makes my boobs look three times their actual size.

Generally speaking, I find that skinny jeans work well as I have slim legs and they usually give my bum some shape. I'm not wearing them much at the moment due to the slightly bigger than usual tummy and also because I have to wear medical compression tights, which aren't at all comfortable with jeans. I'm mostly wearing dresses at the moment and I find that a defined waist and a low, but not too low, neckline is the most flattering.

Tbh, I'm not sure I've really managed to quite get a handle on what flatters my shape so I'm also interested in any ideas that people can share.

Dresses - particularly ones that draw in under boobage.

I am similar in shape except for the tall bit.

Those denim skirts you mention are actually having a moment this summer, I've worn mine loads. Although midi style rather than shorter. Slightly old blog linked for styling ideas:

Thanks will take a look. For ages I lived in stretchy tight long sleeve tops with a deep scoop neck and skinny jeans but it’s a dated look now. I would throw myself into the 90s trends that have come back (after all we have the ultimate 90s figure!) but I feel it’s a bit young/childish for me (30s), I refuse to wear crop tops with cargo pants as day wear.

I think it’s time for me to go back to basics and hunt high and low for capsule basics that flatter my shape - a denim jacket, nice bum-lifting leggings in good quality fabric, sweatshirts that aren’t too short on the arms or have childish logos. Then just accessorise with nice stylish bags and jewellery. Facially I look a bit like the First Lady of Ukraine (though not as beautiful!), and suit more of a classy look than anything too ‘fashion’.

Weirdly I feel at my best in workwear as I suit well cut trouser suits and office skirts, but I can’t wear them every day!

Will post links if I find any winners…
