Cannot do edgy "going out" clothes - help!

My daytime style I'd describe as - not edgy necessarily, but bold, slightly gamine/masculine, simple but colourful. I feel like I know what suits me and what my style is.

But when I have to do a more glam evening going out look, I have no bloody idea! I can't find anything quite right. I don't like revealing much skin and I don't like wearing too much black, neither of which helps. Leather jackets look awful on me and just aren't my style.

Any ideas please?!

If you can’t do edgy, what about classic?

Like a satin camisole top under a blazer, smart trousers and gold / silver heels?

The satin top is and metallic shoes are feminine and glam. While the blazer and trousers are more tailored / masculine and you’re not showing too much skin.

You can also wear with a nice handbag and jewellery for added glam.

I generally go for just a bit of an amped up version of what I wear in day time. So maybe some silk or velvet in the mix, more jewellery & makeup.

Black wide legged trousers, gold All Saints trainers and a black silk tux style shirt are my go to. In winter I'd swap the trainers for biker boots.
I think it's trickier in summer as everything is geared up for wearing dresses & skirts!

I can't do blazers or heels - I have considered a satin cami in a cool colour but I hate getting my flabby arms out!

Yes I'd love a silk / more dressy version of some of my daytime clothes. Will have a look.

I've just remembered a long sleeve satin wide cropped top I have, it's just a bit small at the moment but maybe I could find it in a size up on Vinted...

Black especially black trousers look horrendous on me, but maybe the wide leg could work in a different colour. Where do you get your shirts from?

I have a couple, including this one, from Mint Velvet. They tend to be in muted colours though. Zara often have a good range of shirts in different colours. Might be worth a try.
