Fishy bag

I bought this Phase Eight bag in June after lusting after it for ages…… anyways it stinks of fish. Have tried spraying with perfume, leather cleaner, Febrese and sticking a tub of Bicarbonate of soda in there but still it stinks.

Any of you lovely style & beauty peeps any ideas how to get rid of the smell ?

Hang it outside?

Is it vegan leather, apparently it's notorious for smelling fishy

Wipe it inside and out with hand sanitiser and hang it inside out on the washing line

Have tried hanging it outside , hmmm not sure if it’s vegan leather but I’ve read that manufacturers sometimes use fish glue to make them. It really pongs !

I had the same problem with a bag I bought from TK Maxx last year. I tried sponging, airing and everything else I could think of but nothing worked. Eventually, after months, the smell disappeared on its own.
