Help me find a new winter coat!

I need a new winter coat this year - I know it’s early but I’ll likely need to save for a couple of months.
I need something warm enough for the school runs, smart enough for non school run trips, knee length at least, with a hood and ideally less than £150. Any help would be appreciated TIA

Very expensive, but so amazing .. I bought a second-hand moncler a few years ago.

This is quite nice , they float around on ebay every now and again for under £100.

If your budget is £150 don't bother with Moncler, they're way over a grand each. I bough a padded long coat from Roman last year. It's incredibly warm . It was £80

Where are you? Warm enough for school run in Scotland is likely rather different to warm enough in London?

I couldn't wear either of those mentioned above, never gets cold enough. Also no self respecting adult wears north face here. Appreciate that this may be area dependent!

I've got a sweaty Betty parka a few years old now, not too heavy and totally waterproof.

i love my North Face Arctic parka, they last about 7-8 years (I’m on my second).

I like them , Dont know what it is about this one .. but I really like it ...

North West near the coast so we get pretty cold but not highlands cold. Rarely get snow but lots of rain.

The Seasalt one is more my style. Thanks to the PP but the shiny puffer style isn’t really me and probably out of budget anyway. I found a seasalt voucher which drops the coat to £128 so could be a winner!
