I’m useless at dressing for weddings and feel like I never nail it so hoping for some help! Early 30s, 5’9, pear shape - no boobs (often braless), bigger hips / thighs. 8/10 top and 10 bottom.
I felt amazing at a friends wedding in a dress similar to this, same cut different print. Trying to recreate the success for an October wedding, picked this up on a whim but I don’t love the cuff sleeve and I can’t get on board with black for a wedding, personally. That said it’s a solid back up option.
I feel more comfortable in jumpsuits, ordered this from Mango with a view to dye it. It was only £16.99 on John Lewis so wasn’t fussed if the dye went wrong, would have likely gone for a darker green. Sadly the last size in stock was too snug and don’t want to risk a dye job on a higher price. I love the structure of the piece and for once the leg length was perfect and it didn’t cut me up the middle - sometimes the case when shopping in the “normal” section vs tall.
So Mumsnet, any tips? I feel more like me in a jumpsuit, I’m not a girly girl (whatever that is) not massively into florals etc but I do like a fun print. I don’t suit pastels - majority of my wardrobe is black, grey, green and stripes. Would love some new inspo budget around £100
