Petite Maxi Dress

Hi you wonderful people!

I have decided I would like a trapeze style, black, maxi dress this summer for while I'm on holiday. The only problem, is that I'm 5ft 1, so it's proving difficult! I am SURE it exists, I just must be looking in the wrong places!

I don't suppose anyone knows of any? Thanks in advance 😂

I got a black petite one from M&S. I love it

I have just tried Nobody’s Child for dresses. I am not sure if they do a black maxi but can recommend the company. The quality and price is great 😊

I was going to suggest M&S as well- often out of stock online but check stock in store.

also look for midi dresses as they will be a maxi dress on your frame (I always do this as I’m a similar height)

I’m 5 ft so have the same problem, however i have found a local lady that alters things for me. Absolute game changer for me, i can now buy things i like and she works her magic. X

I'm 4 ft 11 and find regular sized midi dresses are maxi length on me.

It's been a revelation and really broadened my options for skirts and dresses!

Now to find some trousers so if you have any tips please share. Petite options seem more available than ever but finding a pair that fits is proving impossible. Even when I get pairs taken up the crotch is just too long and looks overly large.

I just got one from gap on the next sale page, £19 but its 100% viscose and creases like mad do it's going back.
