Wedding Guest Lipstick

Help, I am going to a wedding on Saturday and I don't usually wear lipstick and have left it too late to choose one. I am going to run into John Lewis on my lunch break tomorrow but won't have much time so I would really appreciate some suggestions. I'm after something fairly subtle but a bit more elevated than everyday.

I have pale skin and dark blonde hair. Dress will either be navy with green flowers or cream with red, black and green pattern.

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated!

Personally, I'd head to the mac counter and ask their advice. And try loads on! Or chanel, I live their lipstick consistency, but their colours aren't as good as they used to be imo.

On the other hand, I had my make up trial at the weekend, and the mua said that 90% of people still pick pillow talk by Charlotte tilbury after they have tried it on. Doesn't do it for me, bit I am very different colouring to you. It is a slightly pinky, your lips just "more" shade
