Second-hand designer bags?

ilyana · 31/07/2023 16:16

Where is the best place to look for a second-hand or discounted designer bag? I'd love a really nice leather one but can't afford new. I'm worried that buying online will mean a knock-off. Are there any reliable second hand or outlet stores that people like?

NPN bags is a great place to look. Shian who runs the site is incredibly helpful and great to do business with. I've bought from her a few times. www.npnbags.co.uk

Npn - as per previous post

The exchange design agency in Kendal ( find on Facebook)

or look on Facebook for dedicated brand selling pages - make sure they have proactive admins who police the authenticity.

I came on to say Naughtipidgins Nest. Shian is brilliant and everything is authentic, I've bought from her several times (and sold through her) and her service is second to none. She couldn't help me with something recently and put me onto The Exchange in Lancaster who were happy to help so if you're after a pre-loved Prada then they've got mine!

Labels Most Wanted or NPN

@ilyana I think it very much depends on what you are looking for. If you are after a very expensive bag like Chanel then I would suggest a specialist site like the ones previous posters have recommended. But if you are looking for something cheaper like an Aspinal, Tod's, Mulberry, then there are lots for sale on sites such as EBay and Vinted. I've bought several and they are the real deal at a decent price. Just check sellers' reviews carefully.

Agreed. I have my eye on a Miu Miu bag there. I’ve also bought a genuine Dior saddle bag from eBay too.

Basically if they have serial numbers, dust bags and preferably certificate of authenticity they should be fine on eBay. I tend to get anything checked on ThenPurse Forum.

I’m selling Mulberry etc on eBay now but have sold more expensive through NPN.

You can also report fakes to eBay and I heard they take this seriously. If you do want a fake designer bag they’re supposed to state this on the listing.

Sometimes reviews can be fake so I don’t always go by those.
