Hi heading to Amsterdam. Thinking dress will do x2 eves. Maybe good runners and few tshirts. Case is small. Anything else? Thank you. Its few days

From what I can remember (it was quite a few years ago) it's a very informal city, maybe because so many people cycle everywhere. I don't think I bothered changing for the evening all the time I was there - we just ate out wherever we happened to be. It's an interesting city though - have fun.

I was last there in 2018. It was unseasonably warm in early September and I ended up buying a short sleeved light cotton knee length tunic dress from Cos. It's a very informal city. I changed to go out for dinner but from point of view of just not wearing the same dress I'd been wearing all day.

Having said it's very informal I used to buy most of my tailored work clothes from Pauw, which is quirky but highly tailored. You will see some people in mad Low Countries Martin Margiela stuff.

I think I'd go for a couple of t-shirt dresses, a denim or khaki/camo jacket and trainers, plus some silky wide legged trousers and vest tops. Maybe a linen shirt for if it's too warm for the jacket.
