Anyone else having or had an awful experience with the company called smirk. They advertise everywhere, but from personal experience buyer beware!
Here is timeline - of my experience below, I bought the product 01/07/2023 received my refund finally on 26/07/2023.
Product does not work - shoddy! After being advised I probably didn't know how to use the product, finally managing to get a returns label, then they advised they are sending me a new to replace the shoddy one. I refused! Sent back, still awaiting my refund. They have not replied, acknowledged or bothered with me since. Customer service extremely poor - totally ignore you and do not respond to queries. I received confirmation they received my return - however - no refund nothing!
Update - they have now contacted me to advise the cleaner is not faulty, they will be sending it back and I will not get a refund for the faulty item! - Absolute scam! What was supposed to be a little Birthday gift to myself - completely spoiled by this company and its faulty product! Buyer beware!!
The product is sent with no instructions as how to use the unit, and no paper work for evidence o a paper trail. the emphasis is on you the customer to prove everything and anything as they take responsibility for nothing.
I've had some really horrible email exchanges from customer services- the customer services are extremely rude and incredibly unhelpful. Cannot use the product as an electric toothbrush as it would not stay on, the company claims I'm at fault and not the product. Not sure what they intend to send me back, but you can guarantee it will not be the original faulty product I sent.
I'll be contacting trading standards.
Avoid!! These positive reviews on here may mostly be scams!
Finally received my refund, however I had to contact citizens advice and send a letter to them - Smirk, detailing my rights according to the consumer rights act of 2015. Previous to this I was advised by Smirk that I could have my refund - only if I took down this review.
Buyer beware - not worth the stress!!
