Not really a beauty issue for me (more health related hair issue but thought it might get more traffic here. I have lost lots of hair through scalp trauma and whilst I can hide it at the moment, I’m trying to support my skin and remaining hair as much as I can. A friend recommended collagen supplements which she adds to tea and said she has had good results. Any experience or thoughts? Thanks in advance

I take one capsule in the morning. Haven’t seen any difference in my hair but my nails are long and strong. I buy whatever is cheapest on Amazon

I've been taking powder supplements for about 7 months. I'm perimenopausal and had noticed my hair getting progressively thinner and I have fine hair anyway. I think I can see a big difference, it's thicker generally, I have 'baby hair' at the front of my hairline where I've never really been able to grow it reliably before and my hairdresser said she could see a difference this week. I haven't seen her in a couple of months so I was really pleased. I've also been adding rosemary essential oil to my conditioner once a week and leaving it on for at least 30-40 minutes. People have reported really good results from this as well. I buy my collagen supplements from Holland and Barret online (Allok which I think is Australian??) as its usually on offer and is good quality. It also doesn't taste too bad - some of them are disgusting 🤢

I take marine collagen tablets just the cheapest off amazon 1 per day more for my skin but my Friend did just comment the other day that my hair looked in better condition recently.

I take the marine Collagen from Superdrug. It takes a while, but definitely improved my hair volume and skin.
