Full coverage foundation

Can anyone recommend a full coverage foundation that doesn’t cost £££ please? Up to about £20.

I have combination skin with large pores too, late 40’s. I’m tired of having medium coverage foundations and they don’t look like I’m even wearing foundation.

Ah was about to suggest the chanel. Step away from the estee lauder double wear it's so cakey

Boots No7 hydraluminous range when worn with a good moisturiser and primer offers a really good coverage

Sounds like you need a primer and then your medium foundation will adhere to that.

I'm 45 with similar skin. Recently discovered Dior liquid foundation and it's the best I've used.

Not under 20 quid, but Nars naturally radiant foundation + Nars creamy concealer. Great coverage for 40-something, uneven complexions.

Maybelline Fit Me isn’t bad for a cheapo full coverage foundation.

I can't give advice on what to buy but I'll advise on what not buy based on my experience: the Kat Von D one (she's got a true full coverage foundation but it feels like you're wearing a clay mask, takes a looooooooot of effort not to make it look cakey, the pores look fine but then it's difficult to move your face); there's MAC Studio Fix Powder version looks crap on my pores, it's sitting in a drawer somewhere (can be built to full coverage but I'd avoid) and I think the Maybelline Fit Me is ok but I wouldn't consider it high coverage for my pores.
I have big pores and the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation makes it all look nice and even.
I'd also avoid highliters, radiant and dewy foundations because those make my pores look like the moon surface.
If pores are your main concern and you're happy with the rest Clinique had this pore minimiser that worked well. I haven't used it in forever but I wore that for ages, the coloured one, at a time when I couldn't be bothered with foundation just to hide my pores.
Another possibility for you: using a liquid concealer under a lighter foundation to smooth it all out. Tbh the foundations I tried that wore full coverage made my pores more noticeable so if you find something AMAZING give us a shout please!
Also, the Clinique clarifying lotion helps my pores (when I could be bothered to do it daily at night...), I think they "unclog the gunk" and pores look smoother but that's my subjective view on it. NB: It has alcohol in it.

*highlighters obviously!

The Shiseido foundation I mentioned before is NOT full-coverage. It disguises my pores well, I should have been clear with that. The radiant one makes my pores stand out more and the dewy one does me no favours.

Estée Lauder double wear has brilliant coverage. I’m 52 and have been wearing it for about 15 years. I will say that it has started to make under my eyes look crinkly as I get older and I would consider trying something else except that I have horrible skin - a scar, dark sun spots etc and DW covers the lot beautifully.

Doublewear is fantastic,I've not found anything as good. The secret is to get colour matched and use it almost like a concealer so very sparingly. Apply with a buffer brush.

Estée Lauder hydra something or another ,can't recall the the name, is fantastic too and more dewy of you like that sort of thing.
