Prescription glasses

Can anyone recommend an online site for prescription glasses please? I've googled and it's a bit overwhelming! I could do with them being ready and delivered within a week...

I've been wearing contact lenses for far too long each day (vanity purposes!) and for various reasons I need to cut this down.

I’ve used Glasses Direct and I’m not sure I would again. For me, not being able to have frames properly fitted and adjusted is a real disadvantage. They do at least offer a free try at home service so you can see what the frames look like on you before purchase.

Cubbits is very good. All frames £150. Good ‘try on’ online and delivered v quickly.

Sorry, should say frames with prescription lenses (unless unusual prescription)

I've just ordered a pair of pro soda frames with prescription lenses from Bloobloom. Very easy to order, good customer service and they sent out 5 sample frames to try on for free beforehand which was great.

Same here. I wear varifocals though and would never buy online.

I've bought from Glasses Direct and found them great. However I have a very simple prescription.

Thanks all for the feedback. Looks like I will have to brave the opticians!
