Are they any good? Looking for a daily one to put snacks, drink bottles for kids etc...

I have one. Probably medium sized; fits and iPad but a laptop would be a push I think. I like the look of it, but I am constantly losing things in it. And it fills up very quickly.

I love mine - have two Finchleys, both medium sized. I got them in the lucky dip sale they did after Christmas that a lot of mumsnetters got caught up in. I love them - excellent pockets, love the bottle holders, good size for days out with the kids, I use one for work and a medium sized laptop fits nicely into the back section. I just bung them through the wash if they get mucky and they still look as good as new.

This is the style I have. I really recommend it.

I have a medium Finchley and it fits a laptop, charger, bottle, lunch and a few more bits. It’s not huge but lovely quality

I have a Finchley. Not sure which size it is, perhaps the large? I could get a large laptop in it. I love it and the pockets are a rare thing in that they seem to be in the right place rather than just randomly bolted on.

I have a small Finchley. It is great for a small day pack. The pockets on the sides look narrow but can fit a sistema water bottle in.

I personally prefer the look of the roll top ones, so like Finchley over Bantry. They are very sturdy and comfortable to wear.

Rachboymum · 06/04/2024 22:14

Which sistema did you get please as I can’t for the life of me find a bottle small enough to fit in the pockets apart from fruit shoot?

LadyDanburysHat · 11/04/2024 15:56

@Rachboymum I have this on sistema it is quite wide, I also fit bottles of diet coke or cans in it too. The stretch well with the elastic

The Finchley is my favourite

My daughter has a Canfield as her school bag; it fits a lot in it! She also uses it's a beach bag in summer and overnight bag for staying at friends etc. she's had it a couple of years and despite heavy use it's still great condition.would deff get another one!

TheSnowyOwl · 11/04/2024 16:07

I have a small Finchley and I really like it but I would question how comfortable the straps would be on a large one if it was heavy.
