Informal interview/drink what do I wear

OK leaving aside this might sound weird I had a job interview which is nearly in the bag, just the co-boss wants to have a chat and the only time we can do is a Saturday afternoon. As the cafe local to us is closed we said pub.
It's honestly not dodgy but the furm is an eccentric and posh charity (old school). The post is mid-ranking.
So what do I wear to meet a traditional gent in this situation? Ideally if he offers me the job I want to ask for more money too. Help!
My style is usually zara ish.

I'd probably wear smart-casual so something like wide legged trousers with trainers and whatever top (maybe just a white t-shirt, maybe a blazer over the top depending on the weather).

I had to meet someone quite senior (Board Member actually) for a drink one evening in a Shoreditch hotel bar as part of the interview process. It was "interesting". We ended up going to the cocktail bar next door as it was the only place where we weren't screaming to be heard over the thumping base. At least he paid for my margaritas.😂

@HundredMilesAnHour thanks was thinking wide legged trews and safe top, I don't own a blazer weirdly but that's the vibe.

He might be too country posh to get trainers! might have to be ballet flats
