I want to be glamorous!

I have definitely let myself go in the name of comfort but I need to claw this back. Please can anyone suggest a few things that will help without spending a fortune?

I broke my foot so can no longer wear heels which definitely isn't helping.

Can you suggest any glamorous flat shoes?

And always perfume! And although no gel nails, I rub oil and cream into my hands/nails and feet every night.

@Velvetpow I think you've just described glamour! I agree excellent fabrics make a difference but the key is to also carry it through by making brave choices and doing a whole 'look' which sounds like you do. Keep being fabulous!

velvet you sound very glamorous indeed! I watched the Emily Mortimer’s 2021 3 part version of Love in a Cold Climate last night and the transformation of Linda from English country rose to dressed by Parisian clothes shops: and couturiers for the approval and admiration of her lover Fabrice is an object lesson in glamour (for the 1930s). Especially as she revels in the clothes themselves (and not just in Fabrice’s approval)!
