Higher end of Plus Size, What do you wear to events?

If anyone like me ,is the higher end of plus size 24+
what do you wear to events?
I don’t agree with wearing feeling you have to wear a sack because your plus sized but to avoid looking too booby as an F cup is difficult although I don’t feel as though I should have to cover them up completely either, if that makes any sense??

what do you wear to events like weddings, Christenings etc

any advice welcome x

I think it depends what suits you. So what sort of shape are you? Im 20 to a 22 and im an hour glass shape. Thank you menopause I was a size 12 before menopause.

Next online is your friend here as they stock lots of different brands - yours, simply be etc but also designer brands and you can search by size. I am a 24/26 and only 5’2’’ tall which can cause problems but lots of choice here. My favourite brand is Live Unlimited that they stock. Tops are around £50 but good quality and last ages. Next also do free delivery and returns if you buy a pass which is perfect if you have a complicated body type like me!

I'm a fan of Jaeger for an event (and am a size 18); but their things are v expensive to buy new. However, I have been able to buy a lot on Vinted. So my top tip is to work out a few ranges that you like the look of, and then look on Vinted!

Scarlett and Jo do some really flattering dresses - I've worn several in the past and always felt amazing. They're very fitted round the bust (in a flattering way) and then drape lovely. They go up to a size 32.

Yes, have a look on Instagram. Donald Stanley is Essex or a similar area, Isolated Heroes are in Dundee.

Both are handmade in the UK and are female led. I've got several DS dresses - some in heavy sequin for Xmas balls etc, some lightweight kimonos for summer wearing and short ones for over jeans. I've only got 2 IH pieces so far, a stunner dress and a tshirt. All fabulous.

I tend to go for wide palazzo trousers in black and then dress them up with brightly coloured blouses and statement jewellery. I can't wear heels so I have a couple of sparkly pairs of lowish block heal ankle strap shoes.

I think I prefer the first link , more shape to the dresses and love the iridescent orange
