Do you use the same moisturiser for AM & PM? & what's the best one in your opinion.

E45 face moisturiser. Cheap & nothing exotic but it's great! I use it morning and night.

Leave to sink in for a few mins in the morning then apply a mixture of Nivea facial factor 50 and Rimmel kind and free skin tint.

The best!

Yes cetaphil face and body

TattiePants · 25/07/2023 22:00

I have quite oily skin so use a much lighter am moisturiser and then a slightly richer one on a night after tret. Mornings I either use Curel Moisturising Milk or Aldi’s Drunk Elephant dupe then Cerave Pm lotion on a night.

Delphigirl · 25/07/2023 22:02

Eve lom moisture lotion for day and Eve Lom intensive night cream. I have dry skin.

Pinkitydrinkity · 25/07/2023 22:05

Cetaphil daily defence with SPF50
Cetaphil hydrating night cream

Both amazing and reasonably priced!

Riverlee · 25/07/2023 22:10

Usually what’s on offer at the supermarket, and it’s not unusual for Mel to use the night one both morning and night, or day time both times also.

Currentky also using an Avon protinol serum moisturiser also to help decrease some wrinkles..

pattyparsnip · 25/07/2023 22:14

Using Elemis rose marine cream for pm . Am I use Nivea spf 50 moisturiser / sun cream and put loads on .

PurpleGreenandWhiteAreTheNewPrimaryColours · 25/07/2023 22:16

I love drunk elephant lala retro for day or night
It's quite rich so I may not wear it on a hot summer day, but I wouldn't say it was a greasy cream that leaves your face shiny either.

mintbiscuit · 25/07/2023 22:22

Cerave cream in tub (also loads of serums and oil underneath!)

snowlady4 · 25/07/2023 22:25

I've been using skin and me. Same for day and night. Just adding in an extra spf in the morning.
Otherwise, I think nivea is a good one.

DawnBreaks · 25/07/2023 22:29

Aldi Lacura Q10 day cream in the morning and the same brand night cream before bed. The day cream is lighter with the bonus of SPF and the night cream is a bit richer. Cheap as chips and proven in surveys to be just as good as expensive brands!

VegetableGyoza · 25/07/2023 22:31

Skin Food and Skin Food Light.

LolaSparkle · 25/07/2023 23:16

Clinique Moisture Surge for day with the pre-lotion.

Voya Dream Creme for night 🙂

keffie12 · 25/07/2023 23:33

CeraVe: I use the cleanser, eyecream, skin lotion for my moisturiser in a morning, and CeraVe skincream on a night. These products were advocated to me two ago.

A Boots product and very reasonably priced and lasts ages.

The eyecream goes quicker but the others' last months. Gentle, for sensitive skin and affordable.

I never thought I would move away from my expensive high-end brands. What changed?

I started using a beauty prescription of Tretnoin, and CeraVe was what I was advised to use.

"Years"

Rainbowshit · 25/07/2023 23:37

I use weleda skin food at night and a clarins moisturiser in a skiver jar for daytime.

happywotsit · 26/07/2023 06:46

Currently olay retinol night and olay vitamin c day. Just because both were on offer.

Neversaygoodbye · 26/07/2023 07:30

Combination 50+ skin, I prefer lighter moisturisers. I tend to find an spf moisturising enough for my morning routine and then for evening I like cerave, geek and gorgeous hydration station, aveeno calm and restore in the tub and am just about to try the elf holy hydration which has been on my list for ages.

Girlintheframe · 26/07/2023 08:01

The Nue for daytime. It's light but ultra moisturizing and sits beautifully under makeup. Night I use Vichy neovadiol rosé platinum which is richer but not greasy. I generally buy both when on special offer.

I have on the drier side of normal skin.

Hado labo gel cream during the day then Mecca to save face spf 50. Clinique moisture surge overnight mask in the evening. I'm an oily skin type living in a warm environment so can't do the rich heavy creams

Ostryga · 26/07/2023 09:29

Lancôme day cream and Byoma facial oil at night, or LRP cicaplast baume depending on how terrible my skin is at the time.

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 26/07/2023 09:51

Morning it’s either Boots unscented or boots vitamin C. With garnier facial spf 50 on top which I find is same/similar to La Roche Posay one but cheaper.
Evening aldi q10.

Pigtailsandall · 26/07/2023 12:08

I use a Caudalie spf 50 moisturiser in the morning. It's very light but gives me enough sun protection so I never burn. I'm not particularly brand-loyal for night creams, but I have dry skin so go for heavier, thicker creams. I have a Guerlain one atm but the previous one was a Nuxe one from a trip to Paris (I hadn't sen that kne in the UK before)

KeepQuietAndMoveAlong · 26/07/2023 12:09

Simple in the morning, Cerave at night
