Small umbrella-are there any worth having!?

Is there such a thing as a decent umbrella that…

-fits in a handbag
-doesn’t break on day 2 of use
-doesn’t turn inside out with the first gust of wind
-costs leas than £50

any pointers gratefully received!

Ooh, thank you-I haven’t heard of that brand! Do you have one-are they nice and sturdy?

In my experience only the ones from Knirps. They bend but don't break and they don't turn inside out. I lived in a place back in the day that was super windy and my cheap umbrellas no longer worked so my mum gave me one of these and they're the best. Mind you they're not super cheap but they're a work horse. I don't need them now but if needed quality again it's what I'd buy.
I've always had the ones where you press the button to open and close as well. They're too strong to pull down by hand all the time.

What a coinkydink. I have a Repel.on order to be delivered today. It was in offer for £25 and it has to be better than the Totes Flimsy Crap model I got.

@KateJohns I've had mine since Christmas 2020 and it's still in good nick. The best thing is the coating on the fabric that means it doesn't get soaked with water. Hope yours is as good Smile

This Fulton one was really reasonable and I've had mine a year or so now with no issues. I just wanted a half decent but titchy umbrella!

I just got it, Mr Amazon Dude with the nice calves dropped it off for me.

Feels really solid and well made, it's a red one and it's really nice colour, now I just need some rain to go test it in. 😁
