Supportive, padded bra 32FF

mimoo1 · 22/07/2023 11:18

I desperately need new bras. I have tried SO many and none are comfortable or supportive enough.

I am a size 32FF with fairly saggy boobs after having my kids.

I want my boobs to be up where they should be, bra must be padded and create a nice shape under clothing.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Why do you need a padded bra if you are an FF cup? How about a T shirt bra?

sequin2000 · 22/07/2023 11:21

I'd only ever buy Fantasie balcony cup. I like the Helena for an everyday style.

mimoo1 · 22/07/2023 11:23

@Gingerboy22 I really hate unpadded bras. They just Dont give me the shape I'm looking for and I find them less supportive (unfortunately).

Do you have a local specialist lingerie shop? Fantasie do padded bras but you might be surprised by others styles if you ask for advice.

I was trying to clarify what you were after - I was actually buying bras yesterday. I am of ample bust and will only have the amount of lining /shaped cup that a T shirt bra type tends to have with underwire but I certainly don't want a superbra type with the pads at the bottom of the cup. I was actually in M and S ( a small store) and there were so many!

Panache are good but personally I wouldn't want a padded bra as I am a similar size

RosesAndHellebores · 22/07/2023 11:35

M&S do one called bloom which is good as is their lightly padded TShirt bra.

Triumph Amoirette do a padded version.

Because a real 32FF is nowhere as big as you think it is.

I know exactly how big it as I’m a 32G or GG. And I’d not want any extra padding.

CMOTDibbler · 22/07/2023 11:38

I'm the same size and really like Freya Idol for the shape and smoothness

NeverThatSerious · 22/07/2023 11:41

I actually bought a couple of bras from asda the other week, and they are absolutely cracking. I’m a 34G/GG and they’re lovely and supportive with a wide back band and I think they give me a nice shape, and they’re pretty too. Cheap enough to give them a go anyway!

Had to a Bravissimo for a fitting /advice - staff have always been so lovely

Shinyandnew1 · 22/07/2023 11:44

I’m a FF and wear something with padding as I don’t want my nipples sticking out!

Have you tried the Satine bra from Bravissimo, @mimoo1 ? I have it in many colours!

Panache bras give a really nice shape (and Cleo by Panache) But pricey but M&S or Bravissimo might do a copy.

NothingTraLaLa · 22/07/2023 11:46

I like the Fantasie Rebecca bra. Slightly padded to avoid nipple show through, no seams, and I find it gives a nice shape with no armpit overflow. Comfortable as an everyday bra. But it all depends on your own body shape as I find some really well-rated styles are no good at all for me.

mimoo1 · 22/07/2023 12:27

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Going to order some now.

I used to wear the 'Lauren' bra from Boux Avenue and it was perfect, then they discontinued it. That was a few years back and I haven't found a good one since. So annoying.

Gossard padded ultra boost

Oblomov23 · 22/07/2023 12:34

I totally understand. I want a padded or thick material bra, because I find a lot of bras too thin , even the T shirt bras, and don't provide enough nipple coverage, or smoothness, or discretion, I want a smooth appearance, not nipples showing thanks very much!

Yes it's a good one

woodhill · 22/07/2023 13:03

I buy my bras on Belle Lingerie site which has good offers or eBay

Personally I'm quite self conscious about my size and I am relatively slim so worry padding makes them look even bigger itms but understand the concern about nipples etc

Freya deco bra

MerylSqueak · 22/07/2023 14:08

I wax just going to say Freya Deco. It gives a great shape.

shelbabab · 22/07/2023 14:28

I wear a 30E, I still want a padded push up style. I got some from Next that are really good. They are my go to bra now I wear them everyday. They give a nice shape and hold them up well! I can't see them online though to give I the link.

Gingerboy22 · 22/07/2023 20:22

Oh there's some nice bras on that Freya site.
I'm liking the look of the Offbeat Moulded Bra. Such pretty colour combos.
