Shoes Advice Please

Hello all,
I'm looking for suggestions as to what shoes would go with this dress.
For a wedding at a country cottage in a few weeks.
Due to arthritis I need flats or very low heels. Max spend £70/80 unless something I could get a lot of wear out of in which case £100/110
TIA

Thanks @watersprites love the 1st 3 suggestions. Too little support (ie actual material) in the Russell and Bromley’s

A little heel & ankle strap is often more comfortable than flat

Fridayfeelin · 21/07/2023 17:57

I think you’re right you know, so long as soft / cushioned footbed or I can add cushioned insole 👍🏼

I've had shoes from Penelope Chilvers & find them comfortable. I can't do uncomfortable shoes.

I actually have a 2nd more dressy wedding a few weeks later. Wonder if the Boden pair would be a little too casual to go with the other dress? Might need a more slender heel for it?
Both dresses are floor length on me and both have side slit

I love the first dress personally but what do you feel most comfortable in.

I agree that the 2nd dress would suit a slimmer heel

I’ve got the Penelope Childers sandals. They have a padded insole and are really comfortable

I have nothing useful to say other than it's a really nice dress. I think it's gorgeous!

@Oceanus Thankyou.
@MsDastardley That is really good to know as I’m unfamiliar with the brand

Try having a look at Pretty Ballerinas. Maybe you can find a nude or light pink pair with just a bit of heel? Though I understand you might not find them posh enough for a wedding.

Mummyoflittledragon · 22/07/2023 03:22

Really cheap, I know. I have these as a back up pair as I’ve also bought a pair of kitten heels, which I don’t think I’ll be able to wear for that long. They’re surprisingly comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and chronic pain. I am unable to do up the straps when on but have worked out I can slip them on by pulling on the straps to make them wide enough to get my foot through.

Actually mine are the wide fit. But anyway… https://www.newlook.com/uk/womens/footwear/shoes/wide-fit-silver-glitter-2-part-ballerina-pumps/p/861446292

Gorgeous dress!
M & S? Very comfortable and the gold makes them a bit more special but still wearable again due to the tan?
Love your choice too for a closed toe option @Mummyoflittledragon
