Mid 30s and previously did regular salon skin treatments but now looking to invest in some skincare devices I can use at home instead to help keep skin in good condition and fight signs of aging.

Just bought Foreo Bear. Any other recommendations for must have skincare devices?

I've looked at things like steamers, LED masks, lasers but don't want to buy things that aren't worth it so would love to hear your experiences.

Don't know about devices but if you don't already then use tretinoin x

Thanks - how do you get it on prescription?

Dermatica.do.uk or skin and me. I went with dermatica and you get a bottle sent monthly but you can delay deliveries as mine lasted about 6 weeks. Completely transformed my skin and I always get comments saying my skin is nice and what do I use.

I now pick up it from the pharmacy when in Spain/turkey as well. My sister is going in a few weeks so she's going to stock me up.

Join a tretinoin Facebook group and start slow applying every third day, then move to every second day after a couple of weeks and build up to nightly. Then you can increase strength over time. I use 0.05% nightly and have been using around 18 months.

The NIRA laser is good for around the eyes. I’d check out some You Tube reviews. You have to be consistent.

I got good results (to the point people were commenting) with the Newa radio frequency device but I find it such a ball ache to use - 25 minutes 5 times a week for the initial stage. I’m now eyeing up the Tri Pollar device which is similar, gets good reviews but more expensive. Takes less time though.

Definitely start on Tret though - I like Dermatica.
