Footner - OMFG!!

PonyPatter44 · 19/07/2023 20:37

I have terrible hard skin on my feet- I go barefoot a lot and my feet are just a bit manky. Im trying to look after myself a bit more, and read quite a few posts on here singing the praises of Footner socks, so I bought a pair and obediently sat with them on my feet for an hour. After two days, nothing had happened so I assumed my feet were beyond even Footner help.

Five days later, my feet look like the feet of Ramses The Great. Massive flakes of skin are literally detaching from my feet. It is DISGUSTING. When does this stop?

I'm currently sitting on the edge of the bath soaking my poor feet in hot water to try and get rid of as much skin as possible. What on earth is in this Footner stuff?

(I think my trotters will look beautiful when they've finally shed whatever they're going to shed).

Firstly...I'm jealous cos my feet just don't shed.
Secondly...where are the photos!

MrsTerryPratchett · 19/07/2023 20:41

Pictures or it didn't happen.

<rubs thighs>

Oh bugger it's Style and Beauty not Sporner's Corner.

Namechangeforanamechange · 19/07/2023 20:44

Um.. acid.

It's an acid peel.

NotBotheredAnymore · 19/07/2023 20:45

From their website:
As a general rule, you can expect peeling to start between 1 and 7 days after application and last until 10-14 days after using feet socks for dead skin. The extent to which your feet peel after using socks for dead skin will also vary, again depending on how much dead and hard skin you had.

OMG OP, you are going to be part reptile!!!

blackclouds · 19/07/2023 20:50

Was only here hoping for photos

betsyannegrey · 19/07/2023 20:50

It will stop in a couple of days and then you'll be so glad you did it! I did it about 6 weeks go, it took 7 days exactly to start peeling but wow, I have never had such lovely feet! They are still so soft.

ThanksItHasPockets · 19/07/2023 20:51

Once the peel is complete make sure you wear slippers or similar around the house. The new skin is really slippery and I learnt this the hard way on the stairs.

bluebirdsongs · 19/07/2023 20:51

Where does one buy footner?
I have rhino skin on mine atm!

Sunshineandrainbow · 19/07/2023 20:52

Wow I need this. Where did you buy it from?

betsyannegrey · 19/07/2023 20:53

Most big chemists, or boots/Amazon online.

MadisonAvenue · 19/07/2023 20:53

They totally failed me, only a small amount of skin came off. I was so disappointed.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago, I wasn’t expecting miracles but I could see a huge difference from the first use. I apply Flexitol daily and then just use this once a week, it only takes a couple of minutes, and my feet are so smooth and soft now.

Please ask this post to be moved to Sporner Corner and then post the filthy evidence. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Yes I’m aware that I’m a total creep

thelionthewitchtheaudacityofTHISbitch · 19/07/2023 20:58

I also used a fake brand equivalent and that worked equally well.

I've used the cheaper brands with varying effectiveness but bought footner a fortnight ago.
My feet have only stopped peeling now. They are fantastic!! I have flexitol to try too now the peeling has stopped

Runninghappy · 19/07/2023 21:37

I did this several years ago. My skin fell off. Only I then ended up in hospital (unrelated) for a week and I had terrible trouble explaining what had happened to my feet and that it was unrelated. I had to have an mri and my bare feet were sticking out the end 😱

Sealover123 · 19/07/2023 22:18

@Runninghappy that's hilarious 😂 (hope you were OK)
