Laptop Bag-Back Pain

Can anyone recommend a laptop bag that won't exacerbate my back pain please?

I need to carry my laptop around more while using public transport. The rucksack I use at the moment doesn't give as much support as I need. Admittedly I have had it for a while now so I am looking for a replacement that takes some of the strain. I need some padding at the bottom of the bag where it rests across my lower back.
I am 5ft 2in tall and I think that maybe the baf is too long.

My budget is up to £100.
Please help, my weekend was ruined.

I have issues carrying weight, so have a backpack on 4 wheels, very like a suitcase. You can tuck the straps in and wheel it or carry on your back (which I never do, I use it for heavy stuff but it's good to have the option). Have you considered anything like that.

I recommend a laptop bag on wheels like this one if you have a bad back. I use this when I am travelling:

Thank you both for replying ☺️

Last year work provided a wheeled bag but it was awful.
Extremely noisy and awkward.

I am happy to invest in a better and more efficient bag.
Both of your recommendations look good.

I am trying to persuade them that I need a new laptop, preferably one that isn't as heavy!
We will see 😳😉☺️

In the short term I found tightening the straps of my Knomo rucksack helped, by holding my laptop higher up nearer my shoulders, the bottom of the bag where the edge of my laptop is wasn't bashing into my lower back/top of my bum.

It's not winning me any style points - I remember when having anything but the lowest slung backpack was social death at school - but my back is happier!

My mum has a really good laptop rucksack with big padded straps from Jansport which she swears by but I haven't needed to switch from my Knomo now I've tightened the straps.

I bought a Roka backpack after recommendations on here. It's helped a lot with carrying the laptop

Oh no, noisy and awkward is terrible. My 4 wheeled kipling is a dream to steer in all directions, they're called spinners.

I do have a fantastic kipling backpack with proper back support moulded in but I'm not sure what you would search for. It could be a good idea to buy one you can return if it's no good. I have such back back pain , the wheeled bag is just a dream for heavier items.

This is what I use, it has been fine but I don't walk that far.

Roka has been a massive improvement on a shoulder laptop bag. So has removing all but essential items from the bag and also using a separate tote for things like books and documents. You need to reduce the weight as much as possible. I sympathise though it's hard going. We use. Yo have surface pros - rubbish computers and didn't last long but feather light!!!

Lots of backpacks cause me back issues because I am also short, backpacks are mostly made for bigger people!

I got this one recently and it's fab. Also agree with PP who said to tighten the straps, that makes a big difference.

Donut macaroon (I bought from this company also, they were v good) https://www.wardow.com/uk/doughnut-macaroon-backpack-d010-0067-f-uk.html?efid=CjwKCAjwtuOlBhBREiwA7agf1kzWGee2PaT1gC74RAeB8GmfcQQ92ay1w8R9f6cfolC58mzqxXEGuxoCRD0QAvDBwE:G:s&gad=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwtuOlBhBREiwA7agf1kzWGee2PaT1gC74RAeB8GmfcQQ92ay1w8R9f6cfolC58mzqxXEGuxoCRD0QAvD_BwE
