Please help me style this dress

Bought this today, it’s for one of my oldest friends 50th party. Garden party in a very naice area of North London. They are very lovely close friends but I’m still a little intimidated as I’ve put on weight and it will be a big do.
I’m a busty size 16 and bought the XL. It’s very flattering on although I think I need a blue plunge bra (36F) to do it justice.
It’s a maxi on me as I’m 5 foot 4.
I have very cooperative narrow bony flat feet, would it be ok in rose gold saltwaters or do I need a heel/ wedge?

I would only do up 3 or even 2 of the buttons above the shirring - deep v far more flattering on me than high neck!

Lovely dress! I always find heels, even very low ones, make everything more flattering and me feel more confident. Something about posture maybe. So for that reason I would suggest block heels (no sinking into lawn).

Gorgeous dress! I'd wear gold or silver trainers, gold or silver cross body phone bag, electric blue earrings, bracelet and get out there. A well fitting bra essential!! Get fitted, I followed YouTube tutorial and makes huge difference.

Update- bought some low wedge Reiker sandals from Pavers today in blue/ white/ metallic.
Tried it on with nude deep plunge bra and it looked ok, if a bit cleavagey!
