Seasalt coat sizing

I've got my eye on a jacket in the Seasalt sale, and just looking for some advice on sizing. I'm between an 8 and a 10 and find that Seasalt sizing can be ridiculously generous, but that some items can come up quite small. Do the coats / jackets tend to be on the generous side or would I be better to size up? Any advice very much appreciated! Thanks

I recently bought a coat and it was on the small size.

If you go into the size guide for the jacket you want, they often give the specific garment measurements for each size.

So a size 8 of that coat is exactly 103 cm (40.5 inches) around the hips.
