I can't make my mind up I love it but just worried it's not able to be styled very easily and may look old fashioned?

I am not a fan, it kinda reminds me of my granny's handbag. Sorry!

freetheunicorn1 · 16/07/2023 22:44

But I also think if you like something who cares what others think?!

sextherapy · 16/07/2023 22:45

@freetheunicorn1 I felt the same! My clothing is modern so I don't think it's going to fit. I love the bag but think I need it in another colour

sextherapy · 16/07/2023 22:51

It's classic and very classy.

sextherapy · 16/07/2023 22:52

This one I really like but again don't own anything green though do like plain colours do you think I could match this?

I really like it, I think it has a timeless classy quality.

FeigningConcern · 16/07/2023 23:06

I really like both.

midsomermurderess · 16/07/2023 23:46

It feels a bit 1970s. With some high-waisted, wide leg trousers and a blouse with a bow and it would work well

ComeTheFckOnBridget · 16/07/2023 23:49

Classic.

Whether it looks fuddy daddy or not will depend on what the rest of the outfit is like.

Grendell · 16/07/2023 23:51

Seems dated.

Viviennemary · 16/07/2023 23:53

The shape is nice but the two tone effect is dire.

Viviennemary · 16/07/2023 23:55

Just seen the dark coloured bag. Now that is stylish.

Thisisthescene · 16/07/2023 23:58

First one awful, green one much better

IncenseAndPeppermint · 16/07/2023 23:58

Looks gorgeous in the green;
frumpy in the tan & cream.

IncenseAndPeppermint · 17/07/2023 00:01

The green is actually quite neutral (you wouldn’t want to matchy-match it anyhow!)

You're right. Or 1960s with the sort of little shift dresses or Chanel suits Jackie Kennedy wore

I like it.

warblingwater · 17/07/2023 07:58

It's elegant but actually I'm put off a tiny bit because it seems to be emulating the Hermes Kelly style so when I see it I wouldn't assume it was actually an expensive designer bag, which it is, I'd actually think it was a cheap designer fake, probably not even leather.

sextherapy · 17/07/2023 08:45

@warblingwater agree and was partly what drew it to me because I can't justify the price of a Kelly!

Yes yes yes to the green

Its a neutral tone and i suspect it will go well with a surprising amount of oufits
Off the bat... Anything black white beige camel, denim, oxblood or navy would look good

Floralnomad · 17/07/2023 16:29

The green one is very nice

Whichwhatnow · 17/07/2023 16:30

It's not my taste but I think you could pull it off if your overall 'look' is a very chic, understated, willowy, Audrey Hepburn/Jackie O kind of style. Much prefer the green though personally!
