Help me style this dress

I've got this dress for a naming ceremony and dinner in a posh hotel. I need shoes and a jacket/cardigan/shrug.
Thinking pink or red shoes for a pop of colour or tp stay classic in black?

That's a lovely dress. I'm not a fan of black plus pop of colour personally, think silver/gray might be more classy? Or a very pale pink?

Nice dress. I think that it’s a statement dress in many ways and so a shrug or cardigan would just make something really nice a little bit dowdy. If you are going to wear a dress like that then don’t hide away by wearing a shrug. I think that the model wears nude coloured shoes so I would go with that or white shoes. Maybe a block kind of heel so that you get the height and the comfort. If you have long hair dress it up with a good hair accessory then plain bag in either black or white. I’d go with a jacket either in black or white ( choose the colour you’d more likely to wear again but definitely not a cardigan or shrug!
