This dress for a wedding? Yes? No?

Am I too short? Is it too bridesmaid?

I think it's lovely and not bridesmaidy.

AnxiousShep · 16/07/2023 15:57

I think it looks beautiful.

Hillrunning · 16/07/2023 15:58

It's fine.

PriamFarrl · 16/07/2023 15:58

Lovely for a summer wedding.

LadyGardenersQuestionTime · 16/07/2023 15:58

No it's great.

WorstBJever · 16/07/2023 15:58

I think it's lovely too, and not too bridesmaidy at all

xyz111 · 16/07/2023 15:58

Looks good!

thebear1 · 16/07/2023 16:00

It's lovely and the pleats stop it looking bridesmaid.

CC4712 · 16/07/2023 16:00

Its lovely.

If its a church wedding, I'd wear a light pashmina around your shoulders. Shoes wise- I'd wear heels, unless it was somewhere with lots of grass- then a wedge.

Shylo · 16/07/2023 16:00

Lovely dress other than the hem which seems to be all over the place, I think it’s a bit long on you, the uneven hem look is ok if the dress is sort of just below knee length . I feel your pain, I too am short :(

Theblacksheepandme · 16/07/2023 16:10

It's a lovely style on you but I don't think the colour suits you.

elizabell · 16/07/2023 16:11

Very pretty!

doglover90 · 16/07/2023 16:11

I'm not sure the colour matches your skin tone. Also I find the softness/fussiness of the pattern sort of jars with the more modern style.

SwedishEdith · 16/07/2023 16:12

I don't think the colour does you many favours.

Whataretheodds · 16/07/2023 16:13

Yes lovely. Cover shoulders in church.
Not too short
Not bridesmaid
I can't tell whether it matches your skin tone/hair colour for obvious reasons. What do you think OP?

ThePoshUns · 16/07/2023 16:14

I like the style but the colour is too wishy washy

Doggymummar · 16/07/2023 16:15

It's lovely, would look great with a bit of a tan.

doingmyboxin · 16/07/2023 16:45

I would be fake tanning, but maybe the colours don't do much for me. Although I don't know what colour does!

It's lovely. I don't see how anyone can say whether the colour suits you or not when we can't see your face!

FromNowOn23 · 16/07/2023 16:48

Really lovely.

LaMadameCholet · 16/07/2023 16:49

Love it

You have a beautiful skin tone. Which colours do you normally wear?

ikno · 16/07/2023 16:54

I think you can do better.

Are you short or do you have a small torso? If not, something about this dress doesn’t accentuate your proportions correctly.

I don’t like the length of the dress or the long frills at the front that cover your feet, the excess material isn’t flattering and makes you look short.

I am 5”3 myself btw - which is why these things stand out to me and why I ruled a lot of dresses out. I am also going to a wedding. I bought a similar kind of dress with the asymmetrical neckline, but it’s satin, there’s no excess material covering my waist. It’s long but the hem is fitted and a bit of my ankles show.

Jongleterre · 16/07/2023 17:07

Overall I like the colour and pattern but I don't like the one shoulder and the pleats. The pleats are too mature and the one should doesn't go with the skirt pleats.

thecatinthetwat · 16/07/2023 17:09

Lovely dress for a wedding.
