What is Rame

I have some Ted Baker trousers I want to sell that are made of 100% Rame , dry clean only . The fabric feels like linen but I've no idea . Anyone know ? No luck with Google so thought I'd ask here .

I've not heard of rame, but have sewn with ramie - a fabric made from natural fibres which has very similar properties to linen. It doesn't crease as much, but it's lovely to wear.

What is it that you want/need to know about it if you're selling them?

It means copper in Italian.

What colour are they?

Most are made in China so it could be a translation error? 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's probably ramie. It's a plant, so the fabric will be a bit like linen or hemp

Thanks for the replies , I wanted to give an honest description , translation error seems most likely they are black .
