Laura Geller baked foundation

I'm getting adverts and am tempted by the baked balance and brighten foundation. I usually use a liquid foundation either clinique or boots but that looks impressive on the ads
Does, or has, anyone on here tried it?

I have tried it but couldn’t get a colour match. I also tried it when I had a tan from holiday and it worked well but that’s for a short period of time. Buy from QVC. You can return it in 60 days for a full refund if you don’t like it.

I used to use this years ago and always liked the finish but like PP really struggled with the colour match. The lightest shade was deathly white on me and then next one was too dark. I'll have to check if they've brought out any new shades as I did love it!

Thanks for the QVC suggestion, that was useful
The reviews say the same as both of you. My skin is pale with pink undertones but I suspect the lightest shade would be too light for me and the others too yellow
A few reviews say the ingredients have changed and the main ingredient is now talc
Think I'll give this one a miss

I prefer the balance and glow. I am warm Ivory and suit the light colour. I got fair by mistake once (in balance and brighten and it felt gritty and was too pink.

But i do like balance and glow.

I liked it but I'm quite pale. I hate liquid foundation though.

I love it. The lightest shade, Porcelain, is just about the only thing I’ve found light enough for my deathly pallor. The blushers are fantastic.

I have used the Balance and Brighten for almost two years and I absolutely love it. My skin is on the dry side, so I was very skeptical at first. It's not drying or cakey at all, however I only use it very lightly to just even out and perk up my skin. I love how fast and easy it is to apply, and I very frequently get compliments on my skin, so it's a winner for me.

My daughter uses the Porcelain, too, and she is white as a sheet. I use Fair and Light depending on the time of year, and sometimes I mix them.

You are right about the blushes, they are fabulous.

I wish she’d bring back a stand alone Ethereal Rose blush, just perfect for us pallid types.

SheSawSeaShore · 18/07/2023 05:59

I tried it several years ago and it oxidised really badly on me. My face looked yellow! I loved the formula and coverage though. I’d second buying from QVC so you can return if it’s not right for you.

I use the body one, it's great on legs, applied with a sponge. Agree, the brushes are excellent. Definitely buy from QVC, there should be some videos showing application on the site?

I wish I’d seen this thread before purchasing Porcelain! This was the shade recommended for me based on the colour matching on the LG website.
I look like a Geisha, all white and powdery! Not at all like the images in their advertising.
Thankfully their refunds process is very simple and no need to even return the compact.
