Strapless bra recommended please

Nearly 50 and my boobs do need a fair whack if support at this point. Maybe 38DD or thereabouts. Getting married in sweetheart neckline but whenever I try on a strapless bra .... well they support to a degree but hang lower with more space between shoulders and cleavage if that makes sense. Can anyone recommend a bra?

Maybe try a long-line type that supports you from the ribs, corset style.

You might have to go to a specialty lingerie shop. Congratulations, btw.

M&S do a great strapless bra, I'm a 38GG and can find ones there. I'd also consider getting a tailor to look at it once you have the dress and see whether they could adjust either to make it look better.

38DD would be very small cups relative to band size. The 38" is the measurement around your back and top ribs, right up under the boobs (ie not your bust measurement), and the DD bit is the cup size. Any bra, strapless or not, should be able to support you without the straps on. If it doesn't, the band size is too big and can't give you any support. Get yourself properly measured OP! You'll probably find your band size is smaller than 38 and your cup size a few letters bigger.
