Squeaky leather trainers

I have some all leather and leather lined trainers and one of them squeaks. Google suggests WD40 but I don't want to try that on white trainers.
Any ideas? I can't really pinpoint where the squeak is coming from but it's each footstep!

I had some leather boots and one squeaked. When I read the customer reviews others had had same issue and talc was suggested. I rubbed the boot inside and out with baby talc and it stopped the squeak!

I have this with one trainer and discovered that it’s my big toe sliding on the inside of it as I put my foot down. Nothing I can do about except chop my toe off !
