Outfit Help

I'm going for a few drinks tomorrow and the weather has thrown me a curve ball!
Really wanted to wear a nice summery dress, but instead it will probably be trousers.
I have these that I have never worn, but what top and shoes would you suggest?

Lovely trousers! The top and shoes in the pic go nicely with them. I would be careful about wearing a colourful/patterned top (can end up looking like an air hostess/travel agent) but a block colour like black or white and maybe some statement jewellery would be very nice

@Novella12 I agree for a block colour, probably going to go for a black strappy top, but my feet hate cold and wet, so not sure re shoes!

Love the trousers. Do you have scope to go shopping? What shoes do you already own?

They are lovely! I’d wear them with a black top and heels like the model in the photo but perhaps a strappy/short-sleeved top! What shoes/tops do you currently have? Hope you have a great night :)

@sopeas @Thinkle thanks, think it's strappy black top, but shoes I'm not sure.
I don't have anytime to go shopping.
There's abit of walking involved so, sandles aren't really an option as I hate wet feet!
I've got two pairs that could potentially be ok?
